Rocktober is over, but the Phillies are looking to paint another town red. The Phils beat the Rockies 5-4 in a thrilling Game 4, winning the NLCS 3-1. After blowing a one run lead in the 8th inning, they went on the assault in the 9th, down by two runs, tying the game after Ryan Howard's 2 RBI double off of Rockies closer Huston Street scored Shane Victorino and Chase Utley. Howard scored the game winning run after Jayson Werth's RBI single. Despite a strong outing by Cliff Lee, Ryan Madson gets the win out of the bullpen. Street has a blown save as well as the loss.
So for the second straight year, the Philadelphia Phillies are going to the National League Championship Series. And for the second straight year, the Phillies will face the Los Angeles Dodgers in what could be a rekindling of the Phillies-Dodgers rivalries of yesteryears. Buckle up, we're in for a Phun ride!!!
